Delete your Checky account

Option 1: in the app (immediate)

Open Checky and sign in.
Tap the menu (☰) and choose Household setup.
Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

Option 2: by email (if you can't sign in)

Email checkdieapp@gmail.com from the email address of your Checky account, with the subject Delete my Checky account. We will confirm it is you and delete the account within 30 days, normally much sooner.

If you pay for a subscription through Google Play or another store, cancel it there as well. Deleting your Checky account doesn't stop the store from charging you.

What is deleted

Your account: email address and password
Your Personal space: chores, shopping list, bills, pets and pet records, and your private communication log
Phone alert details
Any household where you are the only parent, with all its records, photos and documents

What stays

A household you share with another parent is their record too, so it stays available to them. You are removed from it.
Copies in our service providers' backups and security logs are overwritten within about 30 days.
